Map sources & coverage
The map combines attributed source boundaries with illustrative 3D styling. The regional overview uses one north-up geographic projection. Municipal named areas can include industrial, developing or planned land; a boundary does not establish that an area is built out.
Schools, amenities and transit are a directory of recorded places, not a complete register. Nearby means within approximately 2 km of the boundary. School locations and grade ranges do not determine attendance or admission. Confirm current business operations, transit schedules and eligibility with the linked provider.

Community boundaries and district sector assignments: City of Calgary Open Data, under the City's open-data terms. The existing 223 residential community shapes are retained. The regional overview unions the source's sector boundaries.

Places and imagery
© OpenStreetMap contributors. OpenStreetMap data is available under the Open Database Licence. Each area's original extract is linked above; directory transformations use that same source attribution and licence for the OSM-derived data. School-authority facts identify their own sources within each directory.
Airdrie aerial imagery: City of Airdrie, photographed September 19, 2025. Cochrane imagery: Town of Cochrane, 2024 product; exact capture date was not established. Both retain their municipal licence attribution above. Other new-area satellite views open the provider's own map with its controls and attribution. Photography is recorded, not live; a copyright year is not a capture date.
